Near-Surface Geophysics Virtual Business and Recognition Meeting
Are you interested to know more about your Near Surface Geophysics section? Please join us for this special occasion where we review the progress of our section, preview #AGU23 highlights, and recognize the contributions of our 2023 award recipients. We're also proud to feature the presentation of Adam Mangel, the recipient of the NSG Early Career Achievement Award.

Student & Early Career Trivia Night
The student and early career representative of the Hydrology, Global Environmental Changes, Near-Surface Geophysics, and Atmospheric Sciences sections are organizing a Trivia Night. Please come and enjoy a night of questions all around AGU and the Earth Sciences, and other things.

Near Surface Geophysics DEI event
The AGU NSG DEI committee invites you to learn more about our work! We will be hosting an informal meeting from 4-5pm on Thursday December 14th at the New Belgium Brewing Taproom, right before the Hydrogeophysics/NSG social. Join us to meet with the committee, discuss topics of interest, and bring up any concerns that you would like to see addressed by the committee.
Women of Color in Near Surface Geophysics Lunch: Wednesday, December 13th at 12:50 pm
Join us for an informal lunch on Wednesday December 13th at 12:50pm to meet other women of color in near surface geophysics! We will meet outside the poster hall at Moscone South and walk to a nearby location for food. Please RSVP to Kristina Keating (kmkeat@rutgers.edu) to let us know you will be coming.
AGU-SEG Collaboration Committee meeting
The AGU-SEG Collaboration Committee will have an in person meeting at the AGU Fall Meeting. Anyone interested in joining the meeting is welcome.
The meeting will take place on Wednesday 13 December at 1:00 PM in the Poster Hall (Moscone South) Pod #3. Please note that there will be no remote access to this meeting.
